Closed today and tomorrow

Midway will be closed on Thursday December 10th and Friday December 11th due to the blistering cold. Sorry for an problems this may have caused for any of you.

Midway BMX Extravaganza

Its that time of year again for the Bmx contest of the year. Last years went over really well and hopefully we can keep it going strong because it always a fun time and new shit goes down every year that I have never seen at the park. The prizes are looking really good...thanks to all of em that are helping out. Kink, Profile, S & M, Fit, Odyssey, Animal, Enemy Clothing, UGP, and Standard. You better be there cause its gonna be a kick ass time.

ALL FRESHIES ALL THE TIME

This past weekend we had the Freshies Lock In and it was a great time. King of the Park was a big hit and some wild stuff went down. Team Ratface ended up taking 1st, Team Ramrod 2nd, and Team Skeetskeet 3rd. Thanks to all who came out and supported Freshies and Midway. Also here is the 3rd Freshies Webisode feature, myself (Dan~imal), Alec Kumrow, Matt Russel, Lord Andy, Jeff Szortyka, and Collin Eisch. It was a fun time riding and clocking some footage. Lock In Flyer

Another Lock In

Summer is Here

Summer hours will be starting June 18th. Midway will open at 2pm. on Thursdays and Fridays, and the some hours on the weekend. The pass couple weekends some filming and picture taking has been going on at Midway for the Freshies Webisodes. Its been a fun time and some gnarly stuff has been going on. FRESHIES

Freshies is a webisode feature that a Midway Local "Lord Andy Szortyka" has been working on. The first episode features him and a couple of freinds from Colorado snowboarding in the mountains. The next installment will be coming soon featuring Midway local riders and spots around Wisconsin. Here is the first Episode and check back soon for Numero Dos.

Mothers Day

Midway will be closed on Mothers Day which is May 10th. Look for a Freshies Webisode which will be coming soon. Freshies is a video production which Midway Local Lord Andy Szortyka films and edits snowboarding, skating, and biking in Colorado and Wisconsin scene. Big shout out to Midways friend Lil Jon on all of his exposure in the Kink video and ads. We are all proud of you Lil Jon and have fun in the Northwest at Windells. Keep your eye out for him he shreds on a bike.

Weekend Warriors

Sorry for the lack of updates...Plenty of the Dead End Army dudes have been coming to the park every weekend which is sweet. On Friday we had 47 people at the park probably the biggest turn out in one day in the history of the park. Thanks to everyone that came out and rode. I am going to try to get going on a Web Edit to put up soon. Check back soon for more updates.

April Shours

On Friday, April 10th Midway will be opening at 2pm. Also we will be closed Easter Sunday which is April 12th. Just a reminder that will we close at 9pm this Saturday the 4th. Thanks to everyone that has been supporting us and keep coming to Midway. More interesting updates coming soon.

Closing @ 8pm on Sundays

If you don't know by now Midway will be closing at 8pm every Sunday from now on. Also on Saturday April 4th the park will close at 9pm so please make sure that you have a ride home by that time. Skating Still Alive

Couple of weeks ago the Midway Crew took a trip down to Cream City Skatepark for a late night rent out session. Some good things went down and even some of the bikers got some footage of skating. Overall it was a fun night with some slams and good laughs. Zak made a little video edit and it turned out sweet. Also this past weekend we had the most skaters in a weekend so far this winter. Maybe it is picking back up at Midway and it is nice to see bikers and skaters getting along, and encouraging one another at Midway like they have the past 4 years. Midway News!

First of all, Thanks to everyone that came out over the warm weekend. We appreciate you guys coming out and riding. Second, Midway is making some changes to the proshop, so if you come and things seem different don't freak out. Also remember if you do not yet have a new waiver for 2009 get one. Either have you parents come in and sign it, or get it notorized at you local courthouse. If you are over 18, don't worry bout it. Finally, couple weeks ago we shot some photos (like the one above) and had a little bit of fun with it. Click here for more pics. Closing at 9pm on January 31st

Midway is going to be closing an hour early this coming Saturday night. So kids please make sure that your rides are there so you don't have to sit out in the cold. Thanks for everyone coming out and supporting us in the cold months of winter. Without you we wouldn't be around anymore.

BRRRRRRR!

Damn it is cold out side...with the tempuratures dropping severly the next couple of days we are going to be closed Thursday, January 15th and Friday January 16th. Sorry for any inconvinince. We will be open Saturday and Sunday our normal hours. Thanks everyone for supporting us through the cold and warm times. Everyone stay warm in the next couple of days and then come to Midway once the weather warms up.

We wish all you readers out there a Happy New Year! Also we hope that this will be one of the best years of Midway's life time so far. Thanks to everyone that came out and suppored the rider owned skatepark in 2008. Midway may be making a few changes to the park in the months to come, but that is all a secret and you will just have to keep come riding to see these improvments to the park. Sorry for the small amount of updates lately but I will try to keep the Midway News fresh and exciting. Also don't forget if you are not over 18 you must have your parents present to sign a new waiver or go to the your local court system and get it notorized.
